Ongoing accreditation
Accreditation is the evaluation of processes to ensure quality, competence and safety meet an acknowledged standard. It can identify opportunities for improvement that can lead to an enhanced quality of service.
Clients accessing laboratory services, including specimen collection and point of care testing, expect reliability and high quality services. Accreditation elevates the confidence of patients, physicians, facility administration, government and all those working in the accredited facility. Accreditation provides formal recognition that the organization meets industry best practices.
